Lead Pastor
Bryan grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina and came to know the Lord at the age of eight. He believes his call in ministry is to equip and encourage others to passionately live the truths found in God’s Word. Bryan began his ministry at Putnam Baptist Church in Shelby, North Carolina in 1989, while pursuing his Bachelor’s degree at Gardner Webb University. He served as the Student Pastor until 1995, at which time he became the Associate Pastor. He obtained his Masters of Divinity Degree from Southeastern Theological Seminary in 1997 and then in 1999 became the Lead Pastor. He is married to Tina who also serves with him in the ministry here at Putnam. Bryan and Tina have two children, Elizabeth, who is a college student living in Wilmington, NC and Jonathan, who is married to Crystal, and serves as the Student Pastor also here at Putnam.
