Jeff Renn

Worship Pastor

Jeff came to know the Lord Jesus as his Savior at the age of twelve, in his hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina. In his college years at Wake Forest University, he surrendered to the call of full-time ministry, and was later ordained here in Shelby in 1998. He has served in evangelical ministries, including church settings such as First Baptist North Spartanburg in Spartanburg, SC, and Calvary Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC, as well as mission-oriented outreaches like The Celebrant Singers of Visalia, CA, during which he ministered throughout North America and Eastern Europe. Jeff joined the pastoral staff of Putnam Baptist Church as Worship Pastor in January, 2004. Leigh and Jeff are blessed with three breathtaking daughters, a constant reminder of the glorious grace of God.
